BlueGreenFuture will have a stand at the Arctic Venue exhibition, that will be open from 12.-18. December 2009 at the North Atlantic House in Copenhagen, Denmark.
At the Arctic Venue the latest news about Arctic climate change will be disseminated. The Arctic is warming at double speed of the global average and effects of Arctic climate change have profound impact on living conditions globally and in the Arctic.
Through top scientists, inhabitants of the North, exhibitions, photos, films and events Arctic Venue brings together involved people and institutions presenting the latest news on present and past climate change in the Arctic. Get insight on the stories of melting ice sheet, global sea level rise, and changes in Arctic ecosystems, and also perspectives of changes in human living conditions, accelerated oil and gas exploration and Arctic cooperation.
You find Arctic Venue along with the exhibitions "In the Eye of Climate Change" and "Burning Ice" at Nordatlantens Brygge. The initiative is supported by the Danish Energy Agency and Nordic Council of Ministers.
