| List of Ideas for Innovative Trans-Atlantic Cleantech Projects |

The increased competition for natural resources and the enhanced awareness of environmental issues requires innovative and sustainable solutions within technology and methodology.
The Workshop on Innovative Trans-Atlantic Cleantech Projects identfied following themes for such projects:
Theme A) Clean Energy utilisation in the Trans-Atlantic communities
Theme B) Mitigating the impact of climate change on coastal communities
Theme C) Improved sustainable fishery systems & equipment
Theme D) Making collaboration work
Each theme is further described with regard to primary objective, why it is necessary, competence/skills required, project ideas and potential partners. You can read and download informaton here (external link to NordSESIL.net).
Invitation to submit feedback
This is an open invitation to any organisation with an interest in developing or using innovative cleantech solutions in the Trans-Atlantic region to give feedback on the Themes above.
You can submit your comments and feedback for each of the project proposals in the 4 project themes AND indicate your interest in collaborating on the project if it is developed into a full proposal and application for funding. Please press here (external link to NordSESIL.net) to submit your feedback - preferably before December 12, 2009.
These comments will be used to refine the project concepts and to select 3 leading projects for further development.
Project development will be led by BlueGreenFuture.com
By first week of January 2010 you will receive an invitation to express interest in concrete projects based on the evaluation of the feedback from potential partners and sponsors.

Structured follow-up process
BlueGreenFuture will follow a step-by-step course of actions in the endeavour to bridge the gap between the industry and R&D institutions with the ultimate aim of implementing innovative cleantech solutions in the Trans-Atlantic region.
STEP 1: Project ideas identified and structured (October-November '09)
STEP 2: Engage the Development Communities and invite for feedback on project ideas. Press here (external link to NordSESIL.net) to express feedback, preferably before 12/12/2009
STEP 3: Evaluate project ideas based on feedback from potential partners and sponsors (December '09)
STEP 4: Invitation to express interest in a specific project consortium (January '10)
STEP 5: Initial meeting with potential project consortia (January-Februay '10)
At the initial meeting the project partners can request BlueGreenFuture to facilitate the process of securing funding of the project.
