BlueGreenFuture was initiated at the Trans Atlantic Climate Conference with more than 30 presenters from government, science and industry. Al Gore, Nobel Prize Winner and former Vice President of United States, was one of the keynote speakers.

In September 2009 six maritime cleantech companies offered their products and services under the brand BlueGreenFuture at the Nordic Climate Solutions conference, held in Copenhagen.

In October 2009 the Canadian Ambassador’s Residence in Copenhagen hosted a Workshop on Innovative Trans-Atlantic Cleantech Projects. The outcome of the workshop was identification of more than 20 innovative Cleantech projects in the transatlantic region.

During December 2009 BlueGreenFuture will participate at the COP-15 Climate Change Conference and with a stand at the Arctic Venue from 12. - 18. December at the North Atlantic House in Copenhagen, Denmark.

BlueGreenFuture is currently participating in EU FP6 and EU FP7 projects within Cleantech as well as innovative projects funded in the Nordic region.
